Group is for:
* Compulsive Overeating
* Binge Eating Disorder
* Chronic Yo-Yo Dieting
* Bulimia Nervosa
Group members can expect to learn coping skills to manage immediate issues as well as to get support to explore deeper and underlying issues. We also spend time focusing on how to live more vibrant, authentic lives, as many people struggling with food or body image issues are suffering in other areas of life as well - and if not suffering, may not be getting all they need in other areas.
Group is 75 minutes and meets Mondays at 8:00pm in the Sherman Oaks location. Fee is $35 per session.

This group is open to those who are looking for extra support to manage their:
-Obsessive food thoughts
-Compulsive overeating behaviors
-Binges
-Bulimia
-Related behaviors
If you are looking for a supportive group of peers who are trying to manage their food behaviors, deal with the physical consequences (such as weight gain, metabolic changes, fatigue, etc.), and look at underlying issues, THIS MAY BE A GROUP FOR YOU!
Group is scheduled to meet weekly on Mondays from 5:30-6:45. Please contact Angela if you would like more information or would like to schedule a pre-group assessment/interview.
"ANAD support groups are safe havens for those seeking support and understanding. The role of an ANAD group is to offer information and support to those who are affected by an eating disorder. An ANAD group also provides information, possible resources, and hope for recovery. These groups are a forum for discovering that you are not alone--other people have similar problems and feelings."
Emotional Eating
Do you suffer from diabetes, fatigue, shortness of breath or other serious medical conditions as a result of your weight but can't seem to control your eating?
Have you put your body through torturous or restrictive diets, painful exercise regimens, or even surgery to find that you continue to struggle with binging, overeating, thinking about food too often, hating your body or feeling depressed or anxious?
For many, weight maintenance is more than just will-power, exercise and healthy eating. Many people have not dealt with the underlying issues that contribute to their binging, never feeling satisfied, depression, dissatisfaction, etc. When we ignore or avoid dealing with underlying issues, we become exhausted, frustrated, hopeless, dissatisfied with our results, and disconnected from ourselves and our loved ones.
Take the help that you need and deserve. You can learn to enjoy your life and your body. You can feel better and you can become more effective in managing your cravings or your binges.
